Somebody get me a fan… I feel good!
Starting this blog has been one of the most emotionally cathartic feelings I’ve experienced in a long time.
Not exciting like the high I get from starting a new project.
Exciting like I’m giving $100,000 to my favorite charity. A real feel good vibe.
This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a LONG time. To help others who also suffer with the same syndrome that I do… the rare-ability to stay focused on a project until it’s done.
I knew I was meant to do this when I wrote about this syndrome in my AlexisDawes.com blog, and got a tremendous amount of feedback from others just like me.
You see I’ve been living with New Project Addiction for several years now. It has been both my downfall, and my savior.
And as a writer/online entrepreneur, the Internet has only made my NPA more pronounced. Fortunately I’ve learned to slow down my jack rabbit tendencies enough to build a cushy little business.
It hasn’t always been easy. But IT IS do-able.
Anyway, I started this blog as a way to help other NPA’ers help themselves.
Think of it as a special club where you can get a daily dose of encouragement from someone who’s just like you.
I’m glad you’re here. It was fate that brought us together you know. So don’t be a stranger.
Takin’ it one project at a time,
Alexis Dawes
